Elder Samuel L. Anderson, Sr.
Elder Samuel L. Anderson, Sr., was born on May 1, 1960, in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Pastor Anderson currently serves as the Presiding Pastor of Amazing Grace Apostolic Church, Incorporated, located at 1204 Greenfield Drive, Clarksville, Tennessee. He has been attributed as being a “mission-minded man on a mission for the Lord” and has never shied away from God’s call.
Pastor Anderson attended the Great Commission Theological Seminary under the administration of Dr. Bob White, where he received a Doctorate Degree in Divinity. He has been pastoring for over 27 years, standing on God’s promises, and never wavering from the Apostle’s doctrine.
He is the proud husband of 33 years to his wife, Verneasie Elaine. They were united in Holy matrimony on August 16, 1986, and to their union were born two beautiful daughters, Samea and Chelsea. Pastor Anderson is also the father of three sons, Samuel Jr., Joshua, and Emmanuel Anderson. Called as Pastor, chosen as servant, united as husband, and privileged as father, Pastor Anderson wears many hats. His undertaking is to wear them as the Lord leads him with honor and integrity.
Pastor Anderson served as the Director of the Brotherhood Auxiliary of the First Apostolic Council of Kentucky and Tennessee of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World from 2009 - 2019. In 2018, he was elected to the office of Vice Chairman of the First Apostolic Council of Kentucky and Tennessee, as a non-board member installed to hold an executive office. The only other official to have served in this capacity was Suffragan Bishop George Burns, when the executive board only consisted of District Elders, over 50 years ago.
Pastor Anderson has never been a stranger to hard work. The work ethic instilled in him throughout his childhood groomed him and plays a vital role in him being well known as a hard-working man of a Great God!
